Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects in connection to a September 24, shooting on Pine Street in Kingstree. Torry Tyrek Higgins and Dontreon Dale Wright, both of Kingstree, were arrested October 2, and charged with assault, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
On the evening of the shooting, deputes arrived at Pine Street where they found a gunshot victim lying on the ground in a yard. According to investigators, the victim was shot while walking with a friend. The victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.
