On July 22, Williamsburg County Sheriffs Office deputies responded to the 100 block of Quail Street in Kingstree about a shooting.  According to a press release issued by the Sheriff's Office, deputies found one gunshot victim with a wound to the leg and another gunshot victim with an injury to a finger.

Officials say one victim was transported by EMS to a medical facility, and family members transported the other victim to a medical facility to be treated for their injuries. While on the scene, deputies were told there was another gunshot victim was transported in a personal vehicle to an area hospital. The motive of the incident is unknown. The condition of the individuals is still unknown at this time.

According to officials, the victims were at the residence on Quail Street when an unknown suspect pulled up in a vehicle asking for an individual. After asking for the individual, the suspect exited the vehicle and began waving a gun and then started shooting as several individuals standing in the yard. The suspect left the scene.
