Kenneth Gardner Elementary School recently hosted the Mr. and Miss and Junior Mr. and Miss KGES pageant.

Pageant Organizer and School Parenting Coordinator Susie McCray said “All pageant participants will represent Kenneth Gardner Elementary in school and county events during the 2019-2020 school year. This is the first year a Junior Mr. and Miss has been crowned. We are very excited about this.” Pageant supporters also included KGES PTO and the KGES parents of participants.

Jaiden McKnight and Joshua Boyd were crowned Mr. and Miss KGES. McKnight also earned the title of Miss Popularity. Boyd earned the title of Mr. Congeniality.

Shazia Pugh and Cameron Stacker were crowned Junior Mr. and Miss KGES. Stacker also earned the title of Junior Mr. Popularity.

Other participants included Trumaine Myers, Mr. Popularity; London McLeod, Junior Miss Popularity; and Ta’Marjay Peterson, Miss Congeniality.

As a “Leader in Me” school, Kenneth Gardner Elementary School seeks to create opportunities for students that allow for self-expression in a positive environment.
