Lasenta Lewis-Ellis, GC, CM, CQM-C, MAHRD, President/CEO of LLE Construction Group, LLC, will be the guest speaker at the 2019 Williamsburg Technical College graduation ceremony on Friday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at Kingstree Senior High School.
LLE Construction Group, LLC provides general contracting, project and construction management, and facility maintenance and management to school districts, charter and private schools, commercial businesses and institutions, and she’s expanding the business to the federal marketplace. She is a licensed general contractor and construction manager in the state of South Carolina and a Quality Control Manager (CQM-C) from the U.S. Corp of Engineers. She devises strategies, policies, and plans for the growth and sustainability of the organization.
She directs and coordinates the day-to-day operational activities to ensure it meets its organizational goals. In addition, she oversees the management of the company’s Business Development and Quality Control measures to ensure it is consistent with the company’s goals, values, and production.
In June 2015, Lewis-Ellis opened Need-A-Lift Transportation Services, LLC, a “Safe, Reliable, and Trusted Transportation for Children-on-the-Go,” that focuses on providing transportation to and from school and afterschool programs and activities for children, teenagers, and college students.
Lewis-Ellis continues to support local non-profits, schools, entrepreneurs via sponsorships, and speaking engagements to share her experience in business.
