At the board meeting on Wednesday, June 20, the Bank of Greeleyville Board of Directors announced the following promotions:
Samuel S. Williamson promoted to president; Tracy J. Kellahan promoted to executive vice president; Diane W. Nexsen promoted to senior vice president; and Doris F. Witherspoon promoted to vice president.
Scott Williamson has been with the bank since 1990. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is also a graduate of the ABA National Commercial lending School at Southern Methodist University, the Southeastern Agricultural Lending School at Clemson University, and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He serves on the Bank’s Loan Committee, IT Committee, and the Asset/Liability Committee. He is also a director of the bank.
Tracy Kellahan has been with the bank for over 13 years. She received a Bachelor of Art degree from Columbia College. She is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School at Lander University and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. She serves as the branch manager of the Kingstree office and is the chairperson of the Loan Committee, and member of the Asset/Liability Committee and Compliance Committee.
Diane Nexsen has been with the bank for over 20 years. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the South Carolina School of Banking. She currently serves as chairman of the Compliance Committee, BSA Officer, CRA Officer and Internal Audit Manager. She also serves on the Loan Committee and the EDP/IT Committee.
Dot Witherspoon has been with the bank for 38 years. She is a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School at Lander University. She currently services all loans for the Greeleyville office. She serves on the Loan Committee and Asset/Liability Committee.
The board also recognized the addition of Ashley L. Bell as vice president and chief credit administration officer. Bell joined the bank in November 2017.
Prior to the Bank of Greeleyville, she worked at ArborOne Farm Credit as a credit analyst. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Francis Marion University. She serves as the information security officer for the bank and is a member of the IT Committee.
The Bank of Greeleyville has been serving the community and surrounding areas since 1935 and has two locations, Kingstree and Greeleyville.
