Torrance Wilson, Principal of Hemingway Career & Technology Center, has been selected to present at this year’s Education and Business Summit (EBS) held in Greenville on June 24-26.His topic will be “Apprenticeship: A Catalyst for Success.”
The Education and Business Summit (EBS) is South Carolina’s annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) conference attracting 1,000+ secondary and post-secondary career and technical educators, business leaders and industry professionals from around the country. CTE is emerging as a priority across the nation with parents, businesses and state leaders working to ensure high-quality education options are available today to prepare students for rewarding careers tomorrow.
The State’s dedication to strengthening CTE programs will set up statewide local economies, employers, and students for long-term success. With four days of keynote presentations, concurrent sessions addressing best practices in Career and Technology Education, and the opportunity to earn recertification credits onsite.
