A Salters man is dead after a shooting at a Georgetown apartment complex. On Wednesday, April 17 around 10 p.m., Georgetown County Sheriff’s Department responded to shots fired at Arbor Place Apartments on N. Beech Ave. When they arrived, they found one victim. Jamar McClary, 21, was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the suspect came to Andrews from Williamsburg County. The identity of the shooter has not been released and a motive for the shooting is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
