Worship Services

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Cedar Swamp invites  you to come worship with us. Teachings from The Ark

Teachings From The Ark announces the following events for the month of July.

The Ark is seeking a singer/secretary. The Ark will be giving away donations from Walmart 360 every Saturday except on the third Saturday of the month. Outreach Services

The Felician Center offers a food pantry on Tuesdays, a Clothing Closet and free health screenings (during the school year) on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The center is located at 1000 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree.

I am Statements

Vacation Bible School

Whoosh Take Flight to Where God Leads You! Vacation 2019 will be held from Monday, July 8 to July 12. The class will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 701 Saint John St., Kingstree. Classes are available for preschool to adult. Pre-registration will be held from July 1 to July 3.

Empowerment Conference

The Total Woman Women’s Empowerment Conference will be held Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13, in Sumter.

**Friday, July 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be a meet and greet networking (registration required), at The Sidewalk Cafe, 154 S. Main St., Sumter.

Saturday, July 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. a free community dance aerobic session at the South Hope Center, 1125 S. Lafayette Blvd., Sumter.

**From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. luncheon, fashion show, and speakers (registration required) will be held at the Good Shepherd Outreach Center, 118 Commerce St., Sumter.

**Denotes that sessions are for women 18 and up only.

Conference speakers will be TTW Conference Facilitator Joan D. Hampton, CEO of the Good Shepherd Outreach Ministries and The Total Woman Teaching Series and Dr. Tracey Bailey-Fleming, owner of The Sidewalk Cafe and ER physician, Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Tickets are $20 gold member, access to all conference activities Friday and Saturday; and $10 silver non-member, access to one conference activity: meet and greet (Friday) or luncheon, fashion show, and speakers (Saturday).
