Worship Services

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Cedar Swamp invites you to come worship with us. Following services will be held every first and third Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. Sunday school, worship services 11:15 a.m. and second and fourth Sunday, Sunday school 8:30 a.m., and worship services  9:30 a.m.

Outreach Services

The Felician Center offers a food pantry on Tuesdays, a Clothing Closet and free health screenings (during the school year) on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The center is located at 1000 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree.

Clothes Giveaway

Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothes giveaway on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., please bring a bag.

Women’s Conference

The first annual women’s conference “Unmasking In 2019” will be held Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church, 2612 Corner Rd., New Zion. The guest speaker will be Prophetess Cheryl Beaufort of Fresh Fire Christian Life Center of Manning. The pastor is the Rev. Phillip Boyd. Registration is required. Black and White Program

The annual Gillie R. McKnight Black and White Program along with Pack the Pew will be held at 10 a.m. April 28, at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 2000 Cade Road, Lake City, where the  pastor is the Rev. Joyce M. Timmons.

Pre-Mother Day Banquet Dinner

Greater Bethel AME Church will be having a Pre-Mother Day Banquet dinner on Saturday, May 11, at 5 p.m. Donation is $10.

In the Shadow of the Cross

Hebron Independent Church will present “In the Shadow of the Cross,” a Good Friday worship service focusing on the seven last words of Jesus from the cross. The service is patterned after the “Tenebrae Service” or “Service of Darkness” used by many churches to remember the crucifixion of Jesus and to portray the emotional and spiritual drama that prepares us for the Easter message of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Dramatic readings, music and sound and lighting effects will be used to involve the individual in the drama. This will be the 14th year that “In the Shadow of the Cross” has been offered. All are invited to attend. The service will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, April 19. Hebron Independent Church is located at 1424 Hebron Rd., Cades (two miles south of Hebron Crossroads). Friends and Family Day Celebration

The congregation of Faith United Methodist Church will be celebrating its 29th annual Friends and Family Day on Sunday, May 5, at 10 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. McKnight, will be our speaker for the occasion. This year’s theme is “Unity means Love.” We’re inviting each of you to join us. The Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Male Chorus will have its 28th anniversary on Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m. and conclude on Sunday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m. The church is located at 1789 Old Gapway Rd., Salters.
