Aiken Department of Public Safety officers are looking for a vehicle thought to be connected to a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon. 

The shooting occurred at 3:26 p.m. in the parking lot of Hitchcock Animal HospitalLt. Daymon Spann said in a news release. 

Hitchcock Animal Hospital is located along Hitchcock Parkway on the city's Southside. 

One person was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries, Spann said. 

"At this time there are no known suspects and we are continuing to investigate the incident," according to the news release. "We are releasing a photo of a vehicle of interest. We ask that anyone that may have information on the whereabouts of this vehicle and/or its occupants, please contact us to share that information."
