Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays.  We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like.  The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well.

 

Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. Ministry - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Outfield Ministry Bible study will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. until. The Bible study will be held at Hwy. 52, the  Powell Trailer Park. For more information contact TeaTon at (843) 356-7397. Refreshments will follow.

 

Activities - Christ “N” Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Services - The Church of God and True Holiness, 1185 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree,  invites everyone to join us in our weekly services. Services are 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9 a.m. with Sunday School and Praise service at 10 a.m. Praise/Worship on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Sundays and Thursday nights at True Holiness Church of Deliverance II, 229 N. McQueen St., Florence. Apostle James A. Pratt, Jr. is the pastor.

 

Yard Sale - Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Men’s Fellowship - Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 18 South Main Street, Greeleyville, Men’s Fellowship Ministry  and Pastor Otis L. Williams, Jr. extends a cordial invitation to men in the community and surrounding areas to join us in worship Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.

 

Monthly Meetings - The Women of Excellence of Good Shepherd Outreach Ministries of Sumter will be conducting monthly meetings for the Kingstree area on the following Saturday, August 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All ladies welcome! Hot topics for discussion will be “Christian Women and Weight Loss, Wardrobe, Skincare/  Beauty, and Discovery of your Spiritual Gifts/Talents!”

The meetings are free, refreshments served and door prizes awarded.

Anniversary - The Siloam Baptist Church Pastor’s Aide Ministry will be celebrating their third anniversary on July 22, at 3 p.m. Our guest speaker for the occasion will be Pastor Norman Gamble from New Ebenezer M.B. Church of Florence.

Anniversary - The Harley E. McClary Committee of the St. Paul AME Church, 8506 Hemingway Highway, Kingstree, is presenting their 137th church anniversary with three powerful services. Service will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 22, post anniversary celebration with special guest speaker, recording artist, Pastor H.E. Dixson and the Ministries of Truth Tabernacle of Coardsville Many choirs, groups and soloists will be there for the celebration. For more information please call (843) 382-5370.

Teachings From The Ark - Teachings From The Ark, 105 E. Main St., Kingstree,  announces the following events for the months of July and August. July 21 movie with admission $3 adults; $2 children with free refreshments at 11:30 a.m. July 28 teachings

August 4 the second Children/Youth Back to School Gospel Fashion Show will be held at 6 p.m. The theme is “School Days.” For more information please call (843) 355-5448.

All events start at 12 p.m. except movie and food pantry and fashion show. Teachings From The Ark’s Food Pantry will be open to the public, Saturday, July 21, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main St., Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo ID in order to receive commodities. No exceptions.

 

Program - The Siloam Missionary Baptist Church Deacon and Deaconess Ministry will sponsor a “Pack a Pew” program on Sunday, August 5, at 4 p.m. Pastor Parish Brown and the Mt. Rona Missionary Baptist Church family of Effingham will render the service.

Clothes Giveaway - Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothes giveaway on Saturday, September 29, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Anniversary - Lillie White Chapter #349 Order of Eastern Stars of Kingstree has been in existence for 50 years and we give God the Glory for enabling us to reach such a milestone. We will be celebrating our anniversary on Sunday, July 29, at 4 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree. Our  speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Linwood Cooper, pastor of Trinity Holiness Church of Kingstree and St. Mark Holiness Church of Lake City.

 

Evangelistic Service - The Shekinah Temple Church family cordially invite you to our Evangelistic Service to be held on Friday, July 27, at 7 p.m. Our guest speaker will be Evangelist Annette Jones, pastor of True House of Refuge of Scranton. The church is located at 5529 US Hwy. 521, Salters.

 

Block Party - Kingstree First Assembly, located at 872 Sumter Hwy. in Kingstree, will host their first annual block party, this Saturday, July 21. Festivities, which include inflatable rides, a water slide, and a dunk tank, as well as a free concession stand, will begin at 8 a.m. The first 205 elementary age students, who register will receive free school supplies. Black and White Program - The Music and Fine Arts Ministry of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, along with Pastor J. Jeannette’ Cooper, 701 St. John Street, Kingstree, invite you to participate with us, on Sunday, July 29, at 4 p.m. in our “100 Men and Women, In Black and White Program.”  The theme is “Celebrating Godly Men, While Cherishing Godly Women.” Our guest preacher will be the Rev. Michael A. McMillan, Sr., pastor of the Round O Baptist Church of Darlington.   We are asking everyone to please wear any combination of black and white.
