Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like.  The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well. 

 

Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. Ministry - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Outfield Ministry Bible study will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. until. The Bible study will be held at Hwy. 52, the  Powell Trailer Park. For more information contact TeaTon at (843) 356-7397. Refreshments will follow.

 

Activities - Christ “N” Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Services - The Church of God and True Holiness, 1185 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree,  invites everyone to join us in our weekly services. Services are 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9 a.m. with Sunday School and Praise service at 10 a.m. Praise/Worship on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Sundays and Thursday nights at True Holiness Church of Deliverance II, 229 N. McQueen St., Florence.

Apostle James A. Pratt, Jr. is the pastor.

 

Yard Sale - Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Men’s Fellowship - Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 18 South Main Street, Greeleyville, Men’s Fellowship Ministry  and Pastor Otis L. Williams, Jr. extends a cordial invitation to men in the community and surrounding areas to join us in worship Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.

 

Family and Friends Day - Greater St. Mark AME Church, located at 1297 Old Georgetown Road in Hemingway, will be celebrating its annual “Family and Friends Day on Sunday, October 28. Church school begins at 9 a.m. and worship service will begin at 10:15 a.m. Our theme for this year is “Faith in God and a Family in Christ.”

The speaker will be the Rev. Arthur W. Ford and singing by the Randy Shelton Wilson Youth Choir.

 

Fall Festival - Hebron United Methodist Church will have its annual fall festival on Saturday, October 27, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Homemade breads, cakes, vegetable soup by the quart, and much more will be sold. Hotdogs and drinks will be sold by MYF. There will be a buffet lunch at 12 p.m.

 

Teachings From The Ark - Teachings From The Ark, 101 E. Main St., Kingstree, announces the following events for the months of October and November.

October 27, Teachings, October 27, gospel concert at 6 p.m. Featuring special guest Gospel Tides of Charleston; Scott Sisters, McClary Sisters, McCrea Singers and others.

November 3, Friends and Family Day with dining afterwards.

All events start at 12 p.m. except gospel concert.

 

Clothes Giveaway - Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothes giveaway on Saturday, December 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Revival - The East Lake City Believers Holiness Church Family will be hosting their fall revival.  These religious services will take place beginning on Wednes-day, November 7  to Friday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. each night. The guest revivalist for these anointed services will be Elder Dwayne Brayboy, pastor of Macedonia Believers Holiness Church of the Sandy Bay Community of Cades, along with his church family. The church is located at 1847 McCutcheon Road, Lake City.

 

Revival - The annual fall revival service of Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church of Salters will begin from Monday through Wednesday, October 22 to October 24, at 7 p.m.

Monday night: The Rev. Sam Giles, associate minister of Antioch Baptist Church of Lane, Tuesday night: The Rev. Wayne Montgomery, pastor of Barnettsville Baptist Church of Bishopville, Wednesday night: The Rev. Otis C. Prioleau, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Salters, The church is located at 367 Old Gapway Rd., Salters.

 

Pumpkin Patch - Kingstree Community Youth, co-sponsored by Williamsburg Presbyterian Church and Kingstree United Methodist Church, will be sponsoring their annual “Pumpkin Patch” beginning Monday, October 15 through Wednesday, October 31, at Kingstree United Methodist Church located at 510 N. Longstreet Street. Operating hours will be from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Please come out and pick the perfect pumpkin for your family or business from our patch. We will also be hosting “Story Time” in the patch on Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Schools, daycares, and other child-oriented organizations are invited to join us. Concert - Nashville recording artist, Ron David Moore, will be live in concert at Living Word Ministries (Kingstree Christian Academy) on Saturday, Octo-ber 27, at 7 p.m. for “Family Night,” a night of worship, singing, ministry, and fellowship.

 

Hallelujah Night - You’re all invited to Hallelujah Night on Wednesday, October 31, at 6 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 1789 Old Gapway Rd., Salters with Pastor Otis C. Prioleau. There will be food, fun and tons of spiritual information for the whole family, please no costumes.

 

Revival - Bethel United Methodist Church cordially invites you and your congregation to help us praise the Lord at our revival on Monday through Wednesday, October 22 to October 24, at 7 p.m. nightly.  On Tuesday the guest speaker will be the Rev. Patty Gordon at Shiloh Charge of Lynchburg, and Wednesday we will have the Rev. Elton Rutledge from Chavis AME Church of Hemingway. Fall Festival - A Hallelujah Fall Festival will be held Saturday, October 27, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Beulah AME Church, 2272 Sumter Hwy. (Hwy. 527), Kingstree. The pastor is the Rev. Brian L. Williams.

 

Ingathering - Central Presbyterian Church, 5001 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will host its annual ingathering on Saturday, October 27. Bazaar: 10 a.m. Lunch: 12 p.m.

Auction: 1:30 p.m. Central is best known for its delicious food, cakes, homemade jams, relishes and handmade quilts and many handmade crafts. You are sure to find some very unusual items.

Awareness Walk - New Mt. Carmel AME Church Daughters of Sarah along with the Health Ministry Committee will be doing a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on October 27, at 8 a.m. Breakfast will be served after the walk and much more! Save the Date - Agape Hospice Memorial Service will be held on November 13, at Greater Commission Ministries, 3503 Turbeville Hwy., Lake City.

Supper will be served at 6:30 p.m. and service to follow at 7:30 p.m.

 

Guest Speaker - Barry Wagner, vice president of Ezra International, author, international conference speaker, preacher, teacher and television host will be the guest speaker on Friday, November 2, at 7 p.m. at the Kingstree First Assembly of God, 872 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree. After serving as a pastor for over 25 years God called Barry and his wife, Linda, to travel to Odessa, Ukraine to serve as volunteers for three months in the evacuation of Jewish people from the former Soviet Union and help them resettle in Israel. Pastor Steve Lutes would like to invite you to be a part of this most important service as we learn together of the plans and purposes of God concerning the Jewish people and the land of Israel. Family and Friends Day - St. Luke Methodist Church, 705 Moore Rd. (Moore St. Extension) will celebrate its annual Family and Friends day/113th Church Anniversary on Sunday, October 28, at 4 p.m. The speaker for this occasion will be the Rev.
