Noonday Prayer - St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like. 

The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well.

 

Program - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. For more information contact TeaTon at ladychrist_n_ty@yahoo. com.

 

Ministry - Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Outfield Ministry Bible study will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. until. The Bible study will be held at Hwy. 52, the  Powell Trailer Park. Refreshments will follow.

 

Services - The Church of God and True Holiness, 1185 Thorne Avenue, Kingstree,  invites everyone to join us in our weekly services. Services are 1st and 3rd Sundays at 9 a.m. with Sunday School and Praise service at 10 a.m. Praise/Worship on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and Bible study every 2nd and 4th Sundays and Thursday nights at True Holiness Church of Deliverance II, 229 N. McQueen St., Florence. Apostle James A. Pratt, Jr. is the pastor.

 

Activities - Christ “N” Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Refreshments will be served. Pick-up and drop-off are available.

 

Yard Sale - Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Youth Ministry - Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until. 

There will be singing and praise dancing.

Workshop - The District Sunday school staff will be hosting their first workshop of the new year on Saturday, February 23, at 11 a.m. at Believers Holiness Convention Center. And we’re looking for all Sunday school officers. We’re asking for each church along with the teachers and assistants to please be present.  This workshop is for all classes and students. The center is located at 4301 US Hwy. 52, Coward.

 

Men’s Conference - You’re cordially invited to attend the 12th annual Men’s Conference at East Lake City Believers Holiness Church. Ministries - Evangelists Bill and Beth Juoni, of Fresh Fire Ministries of Whitewater, Wisconsin will be ministering at Kingstree First Assembly of God on Sunday, February 3, at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, February 4 to February 6, at 7 p.m. Fresh Fire Ministries is a husband and wife evangelistic team committed to ministering to people, believing Jesus is the answer to life and life’s needs.

After 20 years of serving as a senior pastor, eight years in Minnesota, and 12 years in Wisconsin, God led the Juonis into evangelistic ministry in 1998. Since then, hey have traveled across America and overseas preaching the gospel and ministering in music.

The Juonis also have ministered on television, radio and in camp meetings. Lives have been touched and changed by Christ wherever they have ministered. Pastor Allen Refsland from Wadena Assembly of God, Wadena, MN, wrote: “…the music ministry was anointed, the preaching was doctrinally sound, the delivery was captivating…they definitely helped us rekindle fresh fire in our personal lives as well as in our corporate church life …” Prior to beginning pastoral ministry, the Rev. Juoni received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, Michigan, a B.S. Degree in Marketing from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan and a B.S. Degree in Pastoral Studies from North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also worked in management

 

Celebration - Mother Lula Barr’s 92nd birthday celebration will be held Saturday, February 9, at New Friendship Freewill Baptist Church at 5 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Ben D. McClary, Jr. The Rev. James E. Williams is the pastor.

 

Oyster Roast - St. Alban’s Episcopal Church fifth annual oyster roast will be held Saturday, February 9, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 305 Hampton Ave., Kingstree.

Pancake Supper - Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held February 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 305 Hampton Ave., Kingstree,  dine in or take out. The tickets will be $5. You may buy your tickets from  church members, the church office (843) 355-7575, or at the door.

Spaghetti

Supper - The annual St. Ann Catholic Church Spaghetti supper will be held Friday, February 8, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the parish hall. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door, eat in or take out. Tickets are $7. For more information call 355-8337.

Annual Love Luncheon - The Missionary Ministry of Siloam Baptist Church, 200 Madison Avenue, Kingstree, invites you for “A  Red Shoe Luncheon” on  Saturday, February 9, at 12 p.m. Join us for a light, delicious meal, complemented by information and light talk about “The Spiritual Heart,” “The Healthy Heart,” and “The Heart that Loves.” Speakers for the occasion are Siloam’s members, Minister Phyllis Law, Yashia Manning, and Marilyn Miller. Clothes Giveaway - Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothes giveaway on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Celebration - The Sons of Allen of St. James AME Church will be hosting their annual Black History Celebration on Sunday, February 17, at 4 p.m. The celebration will feature Smiling Sam and The Exciting Linen Singers, Caitlin Shaw, “Highly Praise” Praise Dancers of Bethel AME of Lane, and other special guest choirs, groups and, soloists.

Consecration - The Faithful of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church is pleased to announce the Consecration of their church. This special event will be held on the weekend of February 15. The solemn services will begin on Friday with the reception of Holy Relics brought by Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta. The following day will be the Consecration of the Church celebrated with Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. There will be a festive banquet celebrating the blessed event after services. Parade of Choirs - Greater Bethel AME Church and the gospel choir extend to you a cordial invitation to our Black History Parade of Choirs Program on Saturday, February 24, at 3 p.m. The attire for this program is African attire.
