Mrs. Willie Belle Coker Lane, 87, widow of Caroll Lane, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Graveside funeral services, conducted by the Rev. David Boos, were held Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Hebron Independent Church Cemetery. Mrs. Lane was born in Williamsburg County November 24, 1921, a daughter of Joseph Carlton and Eugenia Gibbons Coker. She was a graduate of Hebron High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lane was a member of Hebron Independent Church, where she was active in the Ladies Society. Survivors are: two sons, Albert Wayne Lane (Salley) of Marion; and Joe Caroll Lane (Gail) of Mooresville, North Carolina; two sisters, Annie Morris of New Zion; and Frances Ray of Hemingway; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hebron Independent Church, 1424 Hebron Road, Cades, S.C. 29518.
