[/if ImageKingstree] The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office is offering a reward for information regarding the death of Nesmith resident Cora Lee Brown. A reward up to $1,000 will be paid upon the arrest and/or conviction of the person or persons who are responsible for this crime.
A family member found Brown, 53, of Mingo Chandler Road, dead in her home on March 12. Sheriff’s incident reports stated Brown died from apparent gunshot wounds.
Brown was last seen at a neighborhood establishment in the Nesmith area on the evening of Tuesday, March 10. Individuals with any information related to Brown’s death are asked to contact the sheriff’s office or investigating agent Brenda Lambert at (843) 355-6381 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 667-TIPS (8477).
