Ralph Edward “Eddie” Gray, Jr., 72, husband of Harriette Perry Gray, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Lake City Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mr. Gray was born March 31, 1940, in Kingstree, a son of the late Eunice Brown Gray and Ralph Edward Gray, Sr. He graduated from Carlisle Mili-tary Academy and was retired from the SC National Guard, 1052nd Transportation Unit of Kingstree. He was a car dealer and was part owner in G&G Auto Sales. He was an active member of the family business, Central Mini-Stop of Barri-neau. He was a member of Kingstree Masonic Lodge # 46AFM and was a Shriner with Omar Temple. He was a member of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Brown Gray. Survivors, in addition to his wife of the home, are: one son, Ralph Edward Gray, III (Sharon) of Kingstree; one daughter, Suzanne Gray of Lake City; four stepchildren, Vickie Morris, Joseph Morris (Anna), Gregory Morris (Lin), and Ann McKenzie (Jason), all of Lake City; one sister, Patsy Williamson (Larry) of Manning; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nine step-grandchildren.
