Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Nell Higgs, conducted by Apostle J. Bernard McCray, were held Friday, March 15, 2013, at Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel of Kingstree, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home.
Mrs. Higgs died Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She was born December 4, 1957, in Miami, Florida, the daughter of the late M.L. and Ernestine Davis. She attended Miami Jackson Senior High School of Miami, Florida. She was employed by Burdines of Miami, Florida; as a modeled in Miami, Florida and Washington, DC; and as a seamstress in Miami, Florida and Kingstree. She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church of Miami, Florida.Survivors are: two daughters, Crystal Higgs of Honolulu, Hawaii; and Jennifer Higgs of Miami, Florida; one son, Rashad Higgs of Atlanta, Georgia; three brothers, Melvin Davis, Wesley Davis, and Henry Davis, all of Miami, Florida; and three grandchildren.
