Neatha Scott “Bobbie” Mungo died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Prince George Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Georgetown. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Bethel United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Mungo was born December 17, 1913, in Williamsburg County, the daughter of the late Jerry and Laura McClary Scott. She was married to the late Rev. Albert Mungo. She was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. While in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she served as the First Lady at Eastern Baptist Church. She worked for Readers’ Digest for many years. Survivors are: one daughter, Mary Mungo of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
