A vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Greeleyville man remains under investigation. South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate a deadly crash that claimed the life of Darrin King Singleton, 28 of Greeleyville. According to L/Cpl. Sonny Collins, the single car crash occurred around 7:50 a.m. on US 52 and Gambles Crossroads just outside Kingstree.
Singleton was driving a 2007 Infinity four-door sedan when he ran off the road, overturned and was killed. Singleton was not wearing a seatbelt. Singleton was employed at the Medical University of South Carolina as a program coordinator.
He worked closely with area schools, churches, businesses, and medical communities to educate youth and adults regarding healthy lifestyle choices.
