Maxie White Crick, 88, widower of Elizabeth “Lib” Crick, died Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Life Care Center, of Charleston. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Kingstree United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at   Kingstree Memorial Gardens. Mr. Crick was born February 14, 1921, in York County, a son of William Lee and Beulah Howell Crick. He retired from Southern Agricultural Chemicals Company after a long career in sales and manufacturing. He sold insecticides to farmers all over the Pee Dee. After retirement, he worked for Partners Ag. in Lake City.  He was a Life Member of Kingstree Masonic Lodge #46AFM, a member of the Eugene Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church. Survivors are: two sons, Earl Crick of Kingstree; and Wayne Crick (Joan) of Mauldin; one daughter, Linda Grant (Sunny) of Goose Creek; one brother, Dr. Bob Crick of Cleveland, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
