Funeral services for Marion “Camp” Camp, conducted by Bishop Amos Major, were held Friday, March 12, 2010, at No. 1 Holiness Church in Cades. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at White Oak Cemetery in Cades. Mr. Camp died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital. He was born May 27, 1946, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Willie and Nancy Fulton Camp. He received his education in the public schools of Williamsburg County. He was employed as a sanitation worker in Deerfield Beach, Florida for many years. Survivors are: one daughter, Teresa Fields of Moultrie, Georgia; a special niece that cared for him, Shirley Tisdale of the home; seven sisters, Mrs. Josephine Tisdale of the home; Mrs. William Dean Meadows of Nashville, Tennessee; Mrs. Gail Session, Carolyn Burgess and Mrs. Judy Singletary, all of Lake City; Mrs. Stella Grady of Georgia; and Mrs. Dorothy Anderson of Pompano Beach, Florida; four brothers, Joe McClary and Willie Camp, both of Lake City; Roger Major of Alaska; and Buster Peterson (Margaree) of Pompano Beach, Florida; and three grandchildren.
