LOIS INABINET, KINGSTREE

Lois Rowell Inabinet, 88, widow of Aubrey R. Inabinet, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at her daughter’s home. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Kingstree United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Kingstree Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Inabinet was born September 27, 1924, in Andrews, a daughter of the late Doc Rhett Rowell and Cora Gene Welchel Rowell. She was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and Draughn’s Business College in Columbia, and was the owner of Inabinet’s Accounting Service for over 50 years until her retirement. She was a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday schoolteacher and a member of the Gary Hemingway Circle. A sister, Mary Jo Stone, preceded her in death.

Survivors are: two daughters, Genie Rhett I. Gasque (Dan) of Kingstree; and Mary Veanna I. Fuller (Jack) of Blythewood; one brother, Douglas Rowell of Columbia; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Trio United Methodist Church, Cedar Swamp United Methodist Church, or Hospice Care of SC.
