Mrs. Lizzie Dell Dorrell McDonald, 72, wife of Kester Gerald McDonald, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Kingstree Nursing Facility. Funeral services were held Monday, July 26, 2010, at Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, followed in the church cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was born January 23, 1938, a daughter of the late Ralph McDuffie Dorrell and Elizabeth Grimsley Dorrell. She was a homemaker. Survivors, in addition to her husband of Kingstree, are: her children, Robin Evans (Steve), Ren Belue (Chris) and Jay McDonald (Brenda), all of Kingstree, and Chuck McDonald (Lisa) of Lake City; one brother, Archie Dorrell (Angie) of Lexington, and one sister, Imogene Hagwood (Lonnie) of Orangeburg; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
