Linda Sue Miles Landon, 60, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at NHC Healthcare of Sumter. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Sam Neil, Rev. Don Taylor, Rev. Charles Shorter and Rev. Victor Smith, were held Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Manning First Assembly of God. Burial, directed by Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, followed at Florence Memorial Gardens in Florence. Born August 13, 1949, in Lake City to Billy E. and Mary Louise Cain Miles. Mrs. Landon served as pianist for Assembly of God in Japan, Kingstree, Lake City, Walterboro, and Manning. She was employed by Clarendon School District I as a teacher and a Curriculum Facilitator until her retirement. She was also a published poet by the National Library Association. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dana Bibb. Survivors, in addition to her mother and father, are: one daughter, Lisa Landon (Auntrell) of Manning; one son, Everette Bibb (Linda) of Dillon; two brothers, Harry L. Miles (Vicki) of Columbia; and Thomas E.  Miles (Elaine) of Florence; and five grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Manning First Assembly of God, 3574 Hwy. 260, Manning, SC 29102, or Family Christian Academy, 2107 Hampton Street, Walterboro, SC 29488, or Living Word Christian School, 644 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, SC 29556.
