LARRY BRIDGES – FORSYTH, GA

Larry Lee Bridges died Thursday, August 19, 2010.
Memorial services, conducted by the Reverend Paul Dziadul, were held Monday, August 23, 2010, at The Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. Bridges, the son of the late Thomas Edward Bridges and Mattie Bell McLeary Bridges, was born November 27, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Bridges grew up in Charleston.  His wife, Gloria Stewart Bridges, preceded him in death.  He retired from Bibb Yarns, Inc. and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a 1969 graduate of the University of South Carolina and a member of Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity. He was President of the Mary Persons High School Touchdown Club in 1980. Survivors are: one daughter, Marisha Lee Ham (Clay) of Forsyth, Georgia; one son, Stewart E.  Bridges (Teresa)  Bridges of Macon, Georgia; two brothers, Grady Stewart (Patricia) of Leesville; and Bobby Stewart (Dot) of Manning; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Monroe County Hospital Foundation, PO Box 1068, Forsyth, GA 31029.
