Funeral services for Miss Kristen Alexandria Margaret-Elizabeth Burrows, conducted by the Rev. Robert Shuler, were held Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Bethesda United Methodist Church of Cades. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Dr. James Cemetery of Kingstree. Miss Burrows died Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was born June 28, 1989, in Sumter, a daughter of the Rev. Francis A.  Burrows and Mrs. Ruth C. Burrows. She was a member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church. In recent years she worshipped at Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was active in the youth choir and the usher board. She was a 2007 graduate of Kingstree Senior High. She participated in JROTC, String Orchestra, Teacher Cadets, FBLA, National Honor Society and Foreign Language Club. She was a sophomore and honor student at Francis Marion University in Florence. Survivors, in addition to her parents of the home, are: two brothers, Rupert Burrows and Marion Burrows of Greensboro, North Carolina.
