Joseph Hannibal “Joe” NeSmith, 63, husband of Deborah “Debbie” Cook NeSmith, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at his residence. A Home Going Celebration was held Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the Bloomingvale Baptist Church. Burial, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed at the church cemetery. Mr. NeSmith was born September 11, 1948, in Kingstree, the son of the late Hannibal Baker NeSmith and Nathene NeSmith Williamson. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bloomingvale Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are: four children, Penny Bryant (Mike), Jody NeSmith, Brian NeSmith (Carla), and Robert Baker NeSmith; two sisters, Shelby Jean Poston (Larry) and Phyllis Scott (Tim); three brothers, Hannibal NeSmith (Betty), Ronald NeSmith (JoAnne), and Nathan NeSmith (Connie); and six grandchildren.
