Joseph I. “Joe” Graham, 71, husband of Hazeleen Parsons Graham, died Monday, October 15, 2012. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel of Scranton. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, followed at High Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Graham was born March 6, 1941, in Williamsburg County, a son of the late Charlie Leroy Graham and Jackie Prosser Graham. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Clemson University. He was a forester and president of Kingstree Forest Products. He was a member of Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he served as a Deacon and former Sunday school teacher. Four brothers, Wayne L. Graham, Euford James Graham, Harold Graham, and Sidney Graham, preceded him in death.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of the home, are: three children, Marie Graham Gause (Thomas) of Windsor, Virginia; Joseph M. Graham (Patricia) of Kingstree; and Paula G. Leake of Cades; one sister, Marilyn G. Morris (Raymond) of Kingstree; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, 836 Broad Swamp Road, Kingstree, SC 29556.
