John “Clyde” McKenzie, 46, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at the Medical University of SC Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at the Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home, followed at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. McKenzie was born March 11,1963, in Kingstree, a son of Mrs. Lorene Tisdale McKenzie Gause and the late Elroe Cooper McKenzie, and the stepson of the late Freddie L. Gause. He was a graduate of East Clarendon High School and was a certified electrician. He was a farm mechanic for Circle M farms and a member of Midway Presbyterian Church. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Kingstree, are: one brother; William Elroe McKenzie (Rochelle) of Lake City; and three step-sisters, Rachel Arnold (Bill) of Kingstree; Grace Wedbee of Sacramento, California; and Gladys Rodman of Idaho, Boise.
