Funeral services for Hezekiah McFadden, conducted by the Rev. Phillip Boyd, were held Thursday, December 3, 2009, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Greeleyville. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Crossroad Cemetery in Salters.
Mr. McFadden died Saturday, November 28, 2009, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. He was born February 19, 1967, in Williamsburg County, a son of Mrs. Carol Bradshaw McFadden and the late Hezekiah McFadden, Sr. He attended the public schools of Williamsburg County and graduated from Kingstree Senior High School. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He worked as a construction worker in Allendale. He also worked as a grounds keeper in Myrtle Beach. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Kingstree, are: one daughter, Kaylonda Capers of Moncks Corner; five sisters, Vivian Donna Fulton (Bernard) of Myrtle Beach; Carla L. Gray of Salters; Marlon C. Epps of Bronx, New York; Sabrina McFadden and Reva Samantha Williams (Terry), both of Kingstree; three brothers, Quincy McFadden of Kingstree; Will McFadden of Myrtle Beach; and Dwayne McFadden of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his grandmother, Carrie L. McFadden of Greeleyville; and one grandson.
