Funeral services for Henry “Sonny” Bradley, conducted by Pastor Ella McFadden, were held Friday, May 4, 2012, at Midway Baptist Church of Kingstree. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Florence National Cemetery of Florence. Mr. Bradley died Monday, April 30, 2012, at Kingstree Nursing Facility of Kingstree. He was born March 20, 1920, the son of the late Cleveland Bradley and Janie Bradley. He attended Williamsburg County Schools, and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee and a member of the Senior Choir. He was married to the late Leah Bradley.
Survivors are: three sons, Cleotis Bradley (Geneva Oliver) of Kingstree; John Walter Burgess of Lake City; and Earnest Bradley of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Mae Cameron (David), and JoAnn Todd, both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Esther Cooper (Roosevelt) of Kingstree; three great-grandchildren reared as his own, Ashley and Amy Cooper of Kingstree; and Shanique Cooper of Columbia; one brother, Edward Bradley of Washington, DC; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
