Two men and two women are now in custody in connection with the recent shooting death and death of Ernest William Prosser. In less than a week the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andre Courtney-Dante Wallace, age 24 of Lake City, Cornelius Quantral McClary, age 24 of 63 Pine Street, Kingstree, Tiffany Naquan Jones, age 22 of 137 Shady Lane, Kingstree and Ronnetta Miller, age 18, of 200 N. Brook Street, Kingstree.
Wallace and McClary are charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and Burglary 1st. Miller is charged with Murder, and Jones is charged with Accessory Before and After the Fact of Murder. All are currently being held at the Williamsburg Detention Center in Kingstree.
According to preliminary reports, in the early morning hours of October 28, the four suspects allegedly entered Prosser’s home on White Oak Road with the intent to rob him. During the burglary, the victim, who was home at the time, happened upon them. Reports allege that an altercation ensued, whereupon Prosser was fatally wounded by a single shotgun blast.
Prosser was discovered three days later by his son, Ernest William, IV, who had stopped by his father’s residence to retrieve a vehicle license tag.
The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the murder.

I feel sorry about what happen to Mr. Prosser, but you have to understand that he was no angel. Everyone thinks that Netta is so innocent, if she is so innocent why did she set this whole thing up? She made the call to Mr.Prosser, more than once. She was suppose to be in the house having sex with him while the other two guys rob him. But it didn't happen as it was plan to happen. At the hearing it was said that prosser open the door and let Netta in, netta left the door open for Trey and they other guy. So you see, netta isn't so innocent afterall. You are right none of us were there but evidence doesn't lie. The evidence shows that all 4 of them entered the house at some point in time during the time that the crime happened. Yeah maybe people shouldn't say what should happen or not happen to these people. But if you are a christian and you have read that bible you will know that in the bible it does say and eye for and eye so with that being said may these people get what they have coming to them. 3 children and their families have to live the rest of their life knowing that their family member was taken in cold blood by the hand of another. So what Mr. Ernest made some bad choices but he raised 3 wonderful children. He provided a life and discipline for them. They all went through school and got their education and have jobs and families. They are doing very well for themselves. Now they are going to have to find a way to explain to their young children why they will never be able to see their grandaddy again. He loved his family and all of his friends. He would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. All these people had to do was ask for anything and he would have given it to them they didn't have to try and steal anything from him. When all of you leaving messages on here can show that kind of compassion to all mankind with no racism then you can say something. He was friends with everyone no matter what their color or whatever. Yes God will have the final say so in what happens to these 4 people but may justice be done here on earth. That is what we have a judicial system for is to make sure justice is served.

As I read most of the comments listed... I read things like uneducated, hang them, good ole boy system, eye for an eye... These children made really bad choices and in which we all have made some really terrible choices in life. To all that have made post about what they feel needs to happen to these accused of the crime; be mindful that you have children and perhaps grand children and you don't know what life will bring to us. Prosser was an adult and was not making the best choices for himself nor his family; so what do you expect from children???? However, by no means was it right for anyone to have taken his life and my condolences to the family. None of us were there and we dont know all the events that took place during that evening, so lets not be so quick to kill people. We should hope and pray that justice is prevailed.

Netta is in just as much trouble as the three others. she knew what happened and did not report it. the son had to find his father several days later. So Tanisha tell me again why she is not as guilty as the rest? If she wanted to get a slimmer sentence, she would have told every thing that she knew, but she made the choice to keep what happened to herself which is just as bad as committing the crime. it is just as bad. I grew up in Kingstree and it wasn't easy. I always heard my parents say there needs to be more activities for the youth to do and maybe the crime rate would lower. Often parents neglect their children and they have no choice other than trouble. They have no role models if parent's aren't. They are suppose to be the light that shines. My prayers go out to the Prosser family;however the electric chair and death won't bring Mr. Prooser back. The suspects should be punished for the crime, but not put to death.

I knew Andre for a long time...this really doesn't surprise me about him. I knew one day he would end up in a situation like this. I've even hung out with him a couple of times maybe about 4 or 5 years ago. I remember one time, a certain incident happened where he stole something very valuable to a dear friend of mine. But anyway, to make a long story short, it appeared he never learned his lesson. He wasn't paying attention to what GOD was trying to teach him. His mind, body, and soul was just filled with too many evil demons inside of him. All four of these young people have no one to turn to but GOD. That's the only answer I have for all of them.

IT IS A SHAME A MAN LOST HIS LIFE. Maybe his lifestyle was not perfect nobody is perfect not even a pastor. Life is a gift not someone's choice. This is real sad especially in the town of Kingstree. You wouldn't expect this in a small town, but it happens. I am so sorry that an innocent man had to die unrightly in his own home. As for the four suspects, I pray that they ask God for forgivness of their sins. I went to school with two of the suspects. Tiffany and Cornelius. It's scary to look back six years later and find out that some of your classmates were murderes, gang bangers, prostetutes you name it. I am so happy that I found the right road and I pray that they will find peace in their minds as for Earnest in his finally hours I pray that he made it right with God and as for his children and/or family I pray that they have strength and trust in God and he'll work it out.

My question is, will there be any justice for the Prosser family or will the good ole boy system come into play as it so often does with the Williamsburg County legal system. Well I am going to say something in regards to this crap about not knowing what was going on. No one can hide a shotgun in their pocket I know because I was raised shooting every gun in the book. A pistol maybe you can get away with hiding but I am so sorry to break your heart but you can't hide a shotgun. And when someone goes in for an armed robbery or whatever they were thinking there are some type of plans to use that weapon. And for the little QUIET Netta all she had to do was call the police or at least an ambulance and maybe she would have been able to same a man's life. She made the choice to go, the choice to stay, and the choice to keep her mouth shut while a man dies in his own home. There may have been a little mercy on her if she had shown a little mercy on an innocent loving man. But see her judgement day won't be in the next couple of months during the trial....it will be when she has to face our Savior up above and then she will really pay for what she was involved in and allowing someone that she could have saved lie there and die. Yeah you weren't there and you don't know, we are all waiting for the trial so that we can see all evidence and then we will know. But for now all bonds are denied and she will have to sit there until otherwise.

Ernest was a good man, but he was also involved with drugs. Don't make him look like a saint, when he was pushing dope in the blk. comm. I feel for his family b/c I have a family also. The life we live will be the life we die, if we don't seek Christ. All of the families are suffering and I pray God have mercy on all of them. I wish Ernest prayed for mercy in his final hours. For all of you that think Netta should be released or thinks any of them deserve anything less than the death penalty... burn in hell. NOOOO ONE carries a gun or is present at a scene like this and doesnt know whats going on. if you are armed with any kind of weapon you have the intention of using it. When Mr. Wallus was presented at the bond hearing with a big ass GRIN! on his face it was all i could do to not jump through that glass and tell him exactly what i thought of his "hardass". And for yall to say... ohhh well some of them have children they shouldnt get locked up... well they should have been the parent that is expected of them and been home with that baby and not out KILLING/ROBBING A SWEET, CARING SON, FATHER, BROTHER, UNCLE, GRANDFATHER, BEST FRIEND.... the list goes on and on. and a robbery? really? Ernest Prosser is sadly missed. What a tradgedy! I'm sure he never expected to leave this way. I would like to say that a few years ago, my car broke down near his house at Cedar Swamp during the night. I had no phone so I went to his house. Even though he had already relaxed for the evening, he got up, put his shoes on and took me to my sister's house. He really saved me, because it was frigntening in the dark alone on that road. I just wish that I could have helped save him in his darkest hour. But, I believe that his kindness will be rewarded. I believe that in his final moments, God was there and he answered prayers that were prayed for him to make it to the other shore. I believe we will see Ernest again and he'llhave that same smile on his face that he was so well known for. RIP

My prayers goes out to the family of Mr. Prosser. For all of you who feel that just because one was sitting in the car she shouldn't be penalized, I am sorry to say you are wrong. All of these individuals are old enough to know right from wrong. In life we all have the option to choose our own destiny. I'm sure this was discussed before any of it took place. With that being said, each of these individuals had the option to say he or she didn't want no part of it. With a shotgun involved what did they think they were going to do? Play UNO? I think not. I don't feel sorry for none of them. I don't care how quiet you may have been. Mr. Prosser was in his home being quiet and minding his business and look how he was violated. So for the quiet one and the one left(supposedly scared) in the car, they are just as guilty. Now she can be quiet in her cell and the other can sit in her cell and think about what option she should've chosen. Let justice be served!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SICK...First of all my heart goes out to the family of Mr Earnest. I didn't know him but feel in my heart he must have been a good man. I find it sick that these people could do this to another human...FOR WHAT??? MONEY? DRUGS?? Or Just Meanness?? To the people that say what about their kid's...the ones that are in jail..that the kid's will be without a parent. Honey they need to be without them!!! If those people thought anything of their babies..they would have been home with them..not out taking this man's life!!!!! So what if she was in the car/// she is just as much at fault as the others...I hope they all 4 get a long long time to sit in jail and think of what they did to this man and his family. I saw someone stated earlier that one of the females,did not do the shooting, but she was arrested because she did not report it. Let me tell you,being there at the time of the shooting and not actually doing anything you are just as in as much trouble as the rest. Holding evidence of any crime is also killing the person as well. Holding evidence, is not showing the victim any justice.

This is a horrific crime that shouldn't be left unpunished! I notice that there are some individuals that say only one person pull the trigger, but at the same time they ALL knew what they were getting themselves into. I beleive that they should be held accountable for their actions. The reason I am saying this because of these questions that pop into my mind. 1) Who was the master planner of this crime? 2) What was the purpose of this murder? 3) To the other three, if they forsee that a murder is evident, could they back off from it before it actually happen? 4) Who has more to gain in this murder? 5) Why the other three individuals who didn't pull the trigger inform law enforcement authorities? If a person has to sit in the Williamsburg County (I still believe that WC needs to merge with Georgetown) jury, these questions I believe that this jury need to ask themselves. I also know that there will be some individuals that would blame parents of the wrongdoers for their actions, but at the same time there is only so much that parents can do if their child is constantly is being noncompliant and disrespecting to authorities.

I will have to agree with Qaunshae to an extent... Regargless of what is going on if you know these other 3 did what they did and you were in the car you were just as wrong. Not beating you down or anything but the female went with these others to the house and to do what? It might not have gone exactly as planned however there was a plan that was wrong from the start. My heart goes out to the victim and his family. These young adults all participated in that day that a child lost her grandaddy, a daughter lost her dad, a mom lost her son, and so forth. Also for the criminals how can you live on a day to day basis without getting on your hands and knees praying for forgiveness. You have not only hurt the victims family but you have now just hurt your own. You have parents that I am sure didn't raise you to go around robbing and popping a cap in everyone that came in your way. I will have to agree that in Williamsburg county if so many people weren't let off so easily then maybe we wouldn't even have to worry about these deeper crimes. Now mommmas, sisters, brothers, daughters, and sons have to deal with this crime that could have been avoided. If you will lie you will cheat if you will cheat you will steal if you will steal you WILL KILL!!! It always starts with the little things. Parents don't let the little things slip by you for you may one day see your loved one in this same position. To all the criminals good luck in jail. I wouldn't want the death penalty for you I would say 3 life sentences so you never get out. And also that every day you live your life this haunts you day in and day out. First of all I would like to send my prayers our to the family of Mr. Ernest Prosser. I know he was loved by many and will be missed by all. To the suspects in question I would just like to say none of us can know what was going on in these peoples lives to cause them to what they did. Even though they did not go there with the intent to kill him what they did go there for was still wrong and things ended up even worse. A tragic event turned into an even more horrible mistake. I am praying for all those involved but it is important to remember only one person did pull the trigger. That person should get whats coming to them and the rest should get a punishment suitable to their part in the crime. GOD BLESS!!!!!

If in fact they are found guilty, they should be punished to the extent of the law. God says in his word to obey the laws of the land, so thats means if you are found guilty of a crime you should do time and be punished. Its funny how 'convient' people sometimes uses the word of God. I feel for the victim and his family, thats who wwe should feel for first, and then these young kids....Young people it aint worth it, stop with all this "street" stuff. There is only two places that you can end up dealing with drugs, behind bars and or six feet under. Young people please get an education and do the right thing.

Yes,I agree that this is a very terrible tragedy that did not have to take place. We have people giving their opinions as to what sentence they should receive. But we should all be mindful of the fact that these individuals have not even been tried or found guilty of this crime. Do not get me wrong, but I too believe that this crime should not go unpunished, and we have to understand that only one person pulled the trigger here. This also goes back to the fact that we should choose wisely the people we associate with, because if we choose to associate with known criminals,then this is almost always a recipe for disaster. But we have to learn from our mistakes. Being first a daughter, a sister and a mother I feel for all involved. I truly hope that the family of the victim can find solace in due time. Yes children can go the wrong way but that all goes back to the way that they were raised. It starts in the beginning with the parents and if they don't do their job then yes the children will stray. But the truth of the matter is they murdered a man in cold blood and didn't even think twice about it and we all have to face our mistakes and take our punishment. But when 3 out of the 4 had prior charges and were on parole they have already had their second chance and now it is time for them to pay for all the cruel things that they have done. I went to school with one of the victims children and I must say that this is a sad example of what our society is coming to. Some say that we must show mercy and compasion and others say stone them at the minute of capture. I can only hope that a fair trial shall ensue in Williamsburg County since that county is so well known for allowing folks to get away with anything. And if it is to be found that they are guilty by our legal system than I can only pray that they face the full extent of punishment the law will give them. The only way people will ever learn is to know that they must be held accountable to their actions, you screw up, you pay for it, that simple. My prayers to the Prosser family and that I hope that this matter will bring closure for them in the end. What could possibly drive those to cold bloodily kill a fellow man I'll never know, if you ask me the lethal injection is not a suitable sentance if they are found guilty, I say hang em in front the court house!

Well, some of you have to understand that people make mistakes. Some of you may have children and you never know, they could end up the same way as these four. Only one person did the shooting. One of the girls didn't even witnessed the shooting, she was in the car, but she's in trouble because she didn't report it. Maybe she was scared or maybe she was threatened, who knows.People just need to be mindful who they keep in their company because you never know what another person os capable of doing.

I agree that all four should suffer the same fate that they gave Mr. Earnest. If anyone knew him they would know that he was a happy and kind person who would give the shirt off his back. He always had a smile! If they would have just asked instead of being cold heartless murders he would have gladly given all he had. I feel that they should be beaten and shot just as they did him.
