Thursday, April 9, at 7 p.m. Hebron Independent Church will commemorate the Lord’s Last Supper with the observance of the Lord’s Supper, or communion. All believers are welcome to participate. Hebron will also meet for a special Good Friday worship service at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 10. The program of worship, called “In the Shadow of the Cross,” will use music, dramatic readings and lighting effects to portray the seven last sayings of Jesus from the cross. Pastor David Boos will lead the service. All are invited to attend. Hebron Independent Church is located at 1424 Hebron Rd., two miles south of Hebron Crossroads.

Boys to Men meeting
Williamsburg County Boys to Men Club, Inc. will meet each Tuesday evening in the Kingstree Elementary School Annex Character Academy Cafeteria on North Academy Street at 6 p.m. All concerned parents are welcome. For additional information please call (843) 355-5967.

Women’s Banquet
Williamsburg Missionary Baptist Women’s Convention Banquet will be held Saturday, April 11, at 6 p.m. at C.E. Murray old gymnasium in Greeleyville. The cost is $10. The speaker for this occasion will be the Rev. Dr. Herman Gibson, Jr.

Teachings From The Ark
On April 11, Teachings From The Ark will have an Easter celebration at 12 p.m. with dining afterwards. April 18, movie, admission is $2. Free refreshments will be served, all events at 12 p.m. Teachings From The Ark’s pantry will be open to the public, Saturday, April 18, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main St., Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo I.D. card in order to receive commodities.
April 25, Teachings At The Ark begin at 12 p.m. with dining afterwards.

Clothing Giveaway
Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothing giveaway on Saturday, April 18, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Drama     
The Crucifixion of Christ will be held at Wesley Chapel Family Life Center, 112 Deep River St., Lake City, on April 10 and April 11, at 7:30 p.m. Come out and relive the drama with pastor Jerry Louis Gadsden.

Blessed Angela Meal    
On April 31 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.

Free Breakfast
Greater Bethel AME Church will be serving a free hot breakfast on  the last Friday of each month until further notice from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The church is located at 308 W. Main St., Kingstree. Everyone is welcome.

Transportation
If you need a ride to church school or church contact: Jeremiah Williams at 382-2974; Lawson George at 354-6289 or Marcus George at 354-7830. This service is sponsored by the Greater Bethel Men’s Club.

Clothing Closet
The Clothing Closet at the St. Ann Outreach Center, 908 Thorne Ave., Kingstree, is open from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. the first three Fridays of every month.

Fellowship Breakfast
St. Michael United Methodist Church of the Cedar Swamp community, will have a fellowship breakfast every fourth Sunday morning from 8-9 a.m., studying the book of Ezekeial. The Rev. Dr. Charles R., Jr. is the pastor.

Morning Prayer
St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, on the corner of Hampton Ave. and Church Street in Kingstree, invites everyone to attend Daily Morning Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer. Morning prayer is held Monday through Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

Mid-Day Prayer and Meditation
