On Aug. 31, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.
Choir Anniversary
The Senior Choir of East Lake City will be celebrating its 68th Choir Anniversary. This blessed event will take place on Sun., Aug. 22, at 4 p.m.

Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until. There will be singing and praise dancing.
Revival
The Sunday School Department of East Lake City Believers Holiness Church will be hosting its first "Sunday School Revival." This blessed event will take place beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 4 to Friday, Aug. 6, at 7:30 p.m. each night. The guest revivalist will be none other than the Rev. A. Samar Biggham.

Gospel Explosion
Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry invites all to come enjoy the annual Gospel Explosion with Pastor Emmanuel Burgess, presiding on August 8, at 5 p.m. at Emmanuel Temple Church of Lake City. The church is located off of Hwy. 52, Coleman Road, make a right on Ray St., make another right on Eugene St. and the church is on the right.
Free School Supplies
Beulah AME Church, 2272 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will giveaway free school supplies on Saturday, August 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The free supplies will be go to the first 150 students (K-12). Student must be present to get free supplies. Come meet the new superintendent of Williamsburg County School District, Dr. Yvonne Jefferson Barnes.
Pastor’s Appreciation
Pastor’s Appreciation for the Rev. Clifford Levine will be held Sunday, August 8, at 4 p.m. at Bethel AME Church in Gourdin. The speaker for this program will be the Rev. James Matthews from Chesterfield Missionary Baptist Church of Long.
Educational Series
Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church will sponsor a Dementia Dialogues Educational Series. No cost to participate. Recommended for anyone who interacts with or cares for persons with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. There will be five sessions on these dates: Thursdays, September 9, 16, 23, 30 and October 7. Each session will begin at 7 p.m. and last approximately 1 hr. and 45 minutes. Class size is limited. Extravaganza
Fashion and Talent Extravaganza, sponsored by G-NIRPS Production, will be held Friday, August 6, at 8 p.m. at the Williamsburg County Complex, 147 W. Main St., Kingstree. The extravaganza will feature children and youth. The event will benefit Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Kingstree.
