Blessed Angela Meal
On Aug. 31, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.

Worship
The Beulah AME Church family invites you to join them every Sunday morning at 11 a.m. for worship services. Church school begins at 10:10 a.m. The church is located at 2272 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree. For further information call (843) 382-4538.

Youth Ministry
Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until.  There will be singing and praise dancing.

Dementia Dialogues
Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church will sponsor a Dementia Dialogues Educational Series.  No cost. Recommended for anyone who interacts with or cares for persons with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias.  Dates: Thursdays, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 and Oct. 7.  Sessions will start at 7 p.m. Class size limited.  Pre-registration required by Sept. 7.  Instructor: Nancy R. Anniversary
Greater Bethel AME Gospel Choir extends to you a cordial invitation to come and worship with us on our 56th anniversary on Friday, October 8, and Sunday, October 10. The Friday evening program will begin at 7 p.m. Our Sunday evening program will begin at 3 p.m. The church is located at 308 W. Main St., Kingstree. The pastor is the Rev. Joshua Dupree.

Concert

Breakfast
Kingstree First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 37 McCall Rd. and Hwy. 52, are hosting a Family Fun Weekend. Friday, August 27, fundraiser dinner 5-8 p.m. Plates $7 each.
Saturday, August 28, Kids Fest Ice Cream and Cookies, games 5-7 p.m. Sunday, August 29, Oxen-dines Singers 11 a.m. Service Proceeds go to the Women's Ministries. Come join us.

Volunteer to help children with their homework one day a week:
Tuesdays - 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. KDG. – Gr. 1 – Gr. 2
Wednesdays - 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. KDG. – Gr. 1 – Gr. 2
Thursdays - 2:30 to 3:45 p.m.  Gr. 3 – Gr. 4 – Gr. 5
Volunteer to do music eg. singing, dancing once a month
Tuesday or Wednesday - 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Kdg. – Gr. 1 – Gr. 2
Thursday - 3:45–4:30 p.m. Gr. 3-4-5
Volunteer to teach quilting, sewing, crocheting once a week
Wednesdays - 2:30–5 p.m. Grades 3-4-5
Volunteer to serve as a receptionist one day a week at outreach center
Tuesdays - 2 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays - 2  to 4:30 p.m.
Thursdays - 2  to 5 p.m.   
St. Ann Outreach Center is in need of a paid position maintenance person to work Wednesdays 9–11 a.m....floors, bathrooms, windows.

Homecoming
Friendship United Methodist Church of Nesmith will have its annual homecoming celebration from September 4 to September 5. There will be a old fashion picnic and bazaar on Saturday, September 4, from 3 p.m. until, featuring The Morrisville Brass Band and others, lots of vendors with foods and other goods. A worship service will be held Sunday, September 5, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Anna G. Miller.

Sunday Singing
Hebron Independent Church of Cades will host a fifth Sunday singing on Sunday, August 29, at 7 p.m. Featured will be soloists from the church. Other Southern gospel singers are invited to take part. All are invited. The church is located at 1424 Hebron Rd., two miles south of the Hebron Crossroads. For further information call (843) 373-8746.

Conference
Great Commission Ministries would like to invite you to their 2010 Women's Conference entitled "From an Orphan to a Queen." The conference guest speaker will be Amanda Hill and the dates and times are October 15, at 7 p.m. and October 16, at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Concert
Mt. Zion United Methodist Church family invites you to come celebrate with us, as we dedicate our organ with a mini concert, Sunday, August 29, at 5 p.m. Appearing on the program will be Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Mass Choir directed by Kendrick Huggins; also featuring organist/choirmaster George Hiatt and the vocal talent of Jessica Grace Chapman. Mt. Zion United Methodist Church is located at 701 St. John St., Kingstree. The pastor is Jack C. Washington.

Free Clothing
