Blessed Angela Meal
On Aug. 31, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.

Choir Anniversary
The Senior Choir of East Lake City will be celebrating its 68th Choir Anniversary.  This blessed event will take place on Sun., Aug. 22, at 4 p.m.

Worship

Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until.  There will be singing and praise dancing.

Summer Revival
Kennedyville United Methodist Church family would like to extend an invitation to their Summer Revival on August 17 and 18, at 7 p.m. nightly. The speaker for the week will be the Rev. Odell Ruffin of Antioch Baptist Church in the Cedar Swamp Community of Kingstree.

Women’s Conference
Lake City Community Church, 402 S. Annual Revival
St. Michael United Methodist Church in the Cedar Swamp Community of Kingstree cordially invites you to their annual revival being held during August 18-20, nightly at 7:30pm.  Our guest speaker will be the Rev. Anniversary
Greater Bethel AME Gospel Choir extends to you a cordial invitation to come and worship with us on our 56th anniversary on Friday, October 8, and Sunday, October 10. There will be gospel singing on Friday, August 20, at 7 p.m. at Ina’s Store at the junction of MLK Hwy. and Thurgood Marshall Ave. Remember we will not be serving food this month.

Teachings From The Ark
Teachings From The Ark announces the following events. August 21, movie, admission is $3 adults/$2 children. Free refreshments will be served. August 28, teaching. All above events start at 12 p.m. with dining afterwards. Teachings From The Ark’s Food Pantry will be open to the public, Saturday August 21, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main Street, Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid Photo I.D. card in order to receive commodities.

Concert

Volunteer to do music eg. singing, dancing once a month

Volunteer to teach quilting, sewing, crocheting once a week
