Blessed Angela Meal
On Aug. 31, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.

Choir Anniversary
The Senior Choir of East Lake City will be celebrating its 68th Choir Anniversary.  This blessed event will take place on Sun., Aug. 22, at 4 p.m.

Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry invites all to come enjoy the annual Gospel Explosion with Pastor Emmanuel Burgess, presiding on August 8, at 5 p.m. at Emmanuel Temple Church of Lake City. The church is located off of Hwy. 52, Coleman Road, make a right on Ray St., make another right on Eugene St. and the church is on the right.
Free School Supplies
Beulah AME Church, 2272 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will giveaway free school supplies on Saturday, August 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The free supplies will be go to the first 150 students (K-12). Student must be present to get free supplies. Come meet the new superintendent of Williamsburg County School District, Dr. Yvonne Jefferson Barnes.
