Souvenir Books
During the fall of 1959, a few enterprising people decided that they wanted to build a church. Spring of the following year, the doors of New Friendship Free Will Baptist Church were opened. The church is exciting about celebrating its 50th anniversary. One way the church plans to celebrate, and hope that the community and area businesses will help, is by publishing a souvenir book. Praise Break 2010
El’Shaddai Faith Temple Ministries, 482 Nelson Blvd., Kingstree, presents Praise Break 2010 TV show. To participate on the show and share your God-given talent (soloists, choirs, recording artists, praise dancers, poets, musicians, comedians and actors). Worship Services

Clothes Giveaway
Kingstree Church of Christ, 1288 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree, will have a clothes giveaway on Saturday, March 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Black History Program
Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Black History Program on Sunday, February 28, at 4 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Charlie Fulton of Lane, along with the youth choir of Mt. Pilgrim. The pastor is the Rev. S.A. Green.

Blessed Angela Meal
On Feb. 23, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.

Free Breakfast
Greater Bethel AME Church will be serving a free hot breakfast on the last Friday of each month until further notice from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The church is located at 308 W. Main St., Kingstree. Everyone is welcome.
