Noonday Prayer- St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy., Kingstree, will be open for noonday prayer on Wednesdays. We invite anyone who wants to come in and spend time with God to stop by and pray as long as they would like.  The church will open at 12 p.m. and remain open until after Bible Study at 6 p.m.  All are welcome to share in our Bible Study as well.

Program- Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Ministry sponsors youth programs every second Sunday of the month. If you are looking for youth to come to your church to perform praise dancing and singing, lifting the name of Jesus. Ministry- Lady Christ-N-Ty Youth Outfield Ministry Bible study will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. until. The Bible study will be held at Hwy. 52, the  Powell Trailer Park. For more information contact TeaTon at (843) 356-7397. Refreshments will follow.

Activities- Christ “N” Me Youth Outfield Ministry activities will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Throw and catch, puzzles, games, singing, and dancing and so much more. Donations- P.A.T.H. is seeking donations to help restore the house for the needy and the homeless on the corner of Gee Street and Stallion Road. For more information contact LaSheila Green at (843) 244-8703.

 Yard Sale- Corrie House Garments of Grace Ministries of Sandy Bay Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at the end of Sandy Bay Rd., will have an indoor yard sale every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fireproof Your Marriage- Fireproof Your Marriage is for couples and/or individuals seeking God’s guidance in love and marriage. A couple’s Bible study ministry to strengthen love and marriage the way God intended. The ministry will be held Sunday, January 8, January 15, January 22, January 29, February 5, and February 12, at 4 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3733 Thurgood Marshall Hwy. , Kingstree. This ministry is designed to keep God first and save our relationship, and facilitated by Alphonza and Cynthia Williams, (843) 372-1009.

Teachings From The Ark- Teachings From The Ark announces the following events for the months of January and February. January 7, 14, and 28, Teachings January 21, a movie with admission of $3 for adults and $2 for children. The movie begins at 11:30 a.m. with free refreshments. February 4, Teachings From The Ark will be celebrating its seventh anniversary. All are invited to come and celebrate this momentous event.
All evens start at 12 p.m. except Food Pantry. Dining afterwards for events at 12 p.m.
Teachings From The Ark’s Food Pantry will be open to the public, Saturday, January 21, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main St., Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo I.D. in order to receive commodities. No exceptions. Blessed

Angela Meal- On January 30, 2012, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Felician Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Monday of each month all year long.

Free Breakfast- Greater Bethel AME Church will be serving a free hot breakfast on the last Friday of each month until further notice from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The church is located at 308 W. Main St., Kingstree.
Everyone is welcome.

Transportation Available- If you need a ride to church school or church contact: Jeremiah Williams at 382-2974; Lawson George at 354-6289 or Marcus George at 354-7830. This service is sponsored by the Greater Bethel Men’s Club.

Clothing Closet- The Clothing Closet at the Felician Center, 908 Thorne Ave., Kingstree, is open from 10:30  a.m. until 12:30 p.m. the first three Fridays of every month.

Morning Prayer- St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, on the corner of Hampton Ave. and Church Street in Kingstree, invites everyone to attend Daily Morning Prayer from the Book of Common

Prayer. - Morning prayer is held Monday through Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

Mid-Day Prayer and Meditation- The Rev. Anna G. Miller and the Friendship family extend a cordial invitation for all to come and join us for mid-day prayer and meditation at noon on Wednesdays. Youth Ministry- Lady Christ-Is-Ty Youth Ministry will be ministering at Interfaith Project Park in Kingstree every Saturday from 4 p.m. until.  There will be singing and praise dancing.
