Singing
Kingstree First Pentecostal Holiness Church, located on Hwy. 52 and McCall Rd., is hosting a singing with The Locklair in the 11 a.m. service on January 31. Dinner will be served after. Donations accepted. Proceeds go to Women's Ministries.

Souvenir Books
During the fall of 1959, a few enterprising people decided that they wanted to build a church. Spring of the following year, the doors of New Friendship Free Will Baptist Church were opened. The church is exciting about celebrating its 50th anniversary. One way the church plans to celebrate, and hope that the community and area businesses will help, is by publishing a souvenir book. Teachings From the Ark
Teachings From The Ark will have the following events. January 30, teachings; February 6, fifth anniversary celebration. All the above events start at 12 p.m. with dining afterwards.

Worship

Anniversary

Walk-A-Thon
The public is invited to join Hopewell's (County Line Road) F.A.N. ministry in their Health and Wellness Walk-a-Thon on Saturday, January 30, at Hemingway Recreational Park (behind HHS football stadium), Hemingway. Time 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Admission--three canned goods to assist our area food banks.
Registrations to participate in the walk-a-thon can be completed at the site. (If weather slightly frigid, will begin at 10 a.m.) Let’s walk together. Call (843) 558-6132 for further information.

Concert
El’Shaddai Faith Temple Ministries, 482 Nelson Blvd., Kingstree, presents a gospel concert Jubilee Celebration 2010 on Saturday, February 13, at 3 p.m., sponsored by Outreach Ministry. Admission is free, love offering only.  There will be a free barbecue cookout.

Blessed Angela Meal
On Jan. 26, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.

Free Breakfast
Greater Bethel AME Church will be serving a free hot breakfast on the last Friday of each month until further notice from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The church is located at 308 W. Main St., Kingstree. Everyone is welcome.
