Yard Sale
A huge yard sale will be held at the Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church Family Life Center on Saturday, January 23, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds will be split between the Evangelism Department and the Youth Department.
 
Teachings From the Ark
Teachings From The Ark will have the following events. January 16,  Teachings From TheArk will be closed January 23, movie, admission is $2 with refreshments.
January 30, teachings. February 6, fifth anniversary celebration. All the above events start at 12 p.m. with dining afterwards except for January 23. Teachings From The Ark’s Food Pantry will be open to the public, Saturday, January 23, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at 101 E. Main St., Kingstree. All recipients are required to show a current valid photo ID card in order to receive commodities.

Service
Hebron Independent Church will host missionaries Neil and Mandy Morgan of Turbeville at their evening service beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 24. The Morgans have recently completed training and will soon leave for their mission field in Uruguay. They will be speaking of their calling as missionaries and their expectations and needs for their work. All the community is invited. The church is located at 1424 Hebron Rd., two miles south of Hebron Crossroads.

Founders Day Services
Hebron Independent Church will celebrate its annual Founders Day services on Sunday, January 17. The morning worship services will begin at 11 a.m. with Treg Hallman of Mt. Pleasant as guest speaker. Special music will be provided by Randy Ward of Bolton, North Carolina based “Gospel on Wheels Ministry.” Following the worship will be a fellowship “carry-in” dinner. At 1:30 p.m. Randy Ward will be in concert with his unique southern gospel singing. All are invited to the service, the meal and the concert. Members of other churches having their own services are invited to join us for the Randy Ward concert. A free-will offering will be taken for his ministry. Celebration
God’s anointed woman of God, Prophetess Black, will be at El’Shaddai Faith Temple Ministries, Inc. on January 14, 15 and 16, at 7:30 .m. nightly. The temple is located at Fred’s Shopping Center, 482 Nelson Blvd., Kingstree. Bishop F. E. Ingram, Sr. is the pastor.

Souvenir Books
During the fall of 1959, a few enterprising people decided that they wanted to build a church. Spring of the following year, the doors of New Friendship Free Will Baptist Church were opened. The church is exciting about celebrating its 50th anniversary. One way the church plans to celebrate, and hope that the community and area businesses will help, is by publishing a souvenir book. You may contribute to this worthwhile endeavor by placing an ad in our souvenir book by means of a donation. For more information please call the Rev. James E. Concert
The male chorus of New Friendship Freewill Baptist Church of Kingstree presents on the Battlefiled for the Lord in 2010 on Saturday, January 23, at New Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. The concert will feature recording artist, the Prayer House Mission Choir of Sum-merton, the Anderson Sisters of Andrews, the Scott Sisters of Kingstree and many more. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. The Rev. James E. Williams is the pastor.

Worship
The Beulah AME Church family invites you to join them every Sunday morning at 11 a.m. for worship services. Church school begins at 10:10 a.m. The church is located at 2272 Sumter Hwy., Kingstree. For further information call (843) 382-4538.

Blessed Angela Meal
On Jan. 26, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., St. Ann Catholic Center at 908 Thorne Ave. in Kingstree offers a free hot lunch. Everyone is welcome. This meal is offered on the last Tuesday of each month all year long.
