Mrs. Esther Louise McCutchen Coker, 93, widow of Ben C. Coker, Sr., died Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Kingstree Nursing Facility.
Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Kingstree Memorial Gardens, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mrs. Coker was born November 17, 1918, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Watson Amar and Melvina Hanna McCutchen. She was a homemaker and was a member of Kingstree Second Baptist Church. Survivors are: one son, Ben Coker of Kingstree; two daughters, Naomi Fryery (Bill) of Louisville, Mississippi; and Sharon Dukes of Kingstree; one brother, Colin McCutchen (Runette) of Kingstree; seven grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
