An accident on Gibson Road resulted in the death of a Greeleyville man. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol report, at 5:40 pm on Friday, September 18, Kendrick Dawntae Mouzon, 28, of Greeleyville, and Roger Jaitor were driving southbound on Secondary Road 758 when the vehicle driven by Mouzon ran off the right side of the roadway, came back to the left side of the roadway then struck a culvert. Both Mouzon and Jaitor were ejected from the vehicle. The occupants were not wearing seatbelts. According to Deputy Coroner Vernal Fulton, Mouzon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jaitor was transported by helicopter to MUSC in Charleston. The accident is currently under investigation by the Highway Patrol.

I would first like to say that I am very sorry for your loss of your son and/or brother. My condolences go out to his family and anyone who cares for him. I don't believe that anyone in his family knew of me, but he did. We meet while I was residing in Greensboro, NC. Dawntae it is so shocking to hear that you passed away...for the short time we knew you my kids and I adored you and I thought you were going to be my future brother in law at one point. May you rest in peace but this is heartbreaking. I send my condolences to your family.
