A Summer Celebration… Down at the River is being sponsored by the Town of Kingstree and the Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber on Thursday, July 9 from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. The family friendly event held at Gilland Park in Kingstree will feature Fatback Groove Band from Columbia playing your favorite blues and jazz.  Food vendors will be available to provide food.  Admission cost is $5 for adults with children 1-12 free. The community is invited to bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy an evening on the river. The second event will be held on Friday, August 7, at Gilland Park.  The band for the August event will be announced in July. For more information contact the Chamber at 355-6431.
