Connie Lee Elliott Thomas, 71, widow of William H. “Billy” Thomas, died Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Carolinas Hospital of Florence. Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Kingstree Memorial Gardens, directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thomas was born August 5, 1941, in Kingstree, a daughter of the late James Connie and Annie Lee McCants Elliott. She was a graduate of Andrews High School and was retired from Farmers Telephone Co-op of Kingstree. She was a member of Kingstree First Baptist Church and the Eugene Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are: one sister, Linda E. Nimmich (Geoffery) of Exton, Pennsylvania; two nieces, and one nephew. Memorials may be made to the Kingstree First Baptist Church Family Life Center, P.O. Box 608, Kingstree, SC 29556.
