Armed robbery at Pizza Hut

Three suspects have been charged in connection to an armed robbery that occured at the Pizza Hut restaraunt on Longstreet Street in Kingstree. According to a Kingstree Police Incident Report, around 9 PM on Aug 22, units were dispatched to the restaraunt to investigate an alleged armed robbery. While in route, police were notified that several black males, some brandishing firearms stormed the business while customers were inside. Reports claim the suspects rushed the counter, took cash then fled the scene on foot.

Police initiated a search which resulted in the capture and arrest of a juvenile, age 17 of Kingstree, Dairy Natquan Gamble, age 21 and Jasper Phillip Fulton Jr., age 18, both of Kingtree. At time of press the suspects were being detained in the Williamsburg County Detention Center. Items such as clothing were found during the search.

Police continue to pursue other individuals beleived to be involved in the robbery. Armed robbery is a felony and carries a minimum 10 year prison sentence.

If found guilty, a person under the age of 21 can receive a minimum of three years in prison. The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
