Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office is assisting Horry County law enforcement who are investigating the death of a Kingstree man found in a Myrtle Beach motel. On the evening of Tuesday, September 28, Kingstree resident Marcus Darnell Nelson, age 30, was discovered by Myrtle Beach Police after they responded to a call of shots fired.
Nelson was found in a room at the Cam Motel located on South Ocean Boulevard. According to reports, Nelson died from a gunshot wound. At time of press the Sheriff's Office was assisting in the search for two possible suspects in connection to the incident and who may have been driving a white 2005 Dodge Avenger with South Carolina tags 'FPJ-211.'
