Earline Sabb, Salters - Funeral services for Mrs. Earline McClary Sabb, conducted by the Rev. Louis Ashley, were held Monday, August 11, 2014, at Jerusalem United Methodist Church of Salters. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Jerusalem U.M. Church Cemetery of Salters. Mrs. Sabb died Monday, August 4, 2014, at Carolina Hospice of Florence. She was born March 15, 1935, in Salters, the daughter of the late Mannie and Hannah McClary. She attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. She worked as an environmental worker in Myrtle Beach. She also worked as a farmer. She was married to the late Joseph Sabb. Three children, Joseph Sabb, Jr., Queen Esther Sabb and Edward Sabb, and six siblings, Lloyd McClary, Sr., Johnnie McClary, William McClary, Mannie McClary, Jr., Emma McClary and Shirley McClary, preceded her in death. Survivors are: four sons, Herbert Lee Sabb (Cynthia), Mickey Sabb (Levonia), Sylvester Sabb and Herman Sabb (Annie Rea), all of Salters; two daughters, Ida Sabb and Mary Alice Sabb, both of Salters; a grandson she reared as her own, Gerald Sabb of Maryland; three sisters, Sara Jane Lockhart and Julliet McClary, both of Columbia; and Alice McClary of Buffalo, New York; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
