Myron Bryant, St. Stephens - Funeral services for Myron Bernard Bryant, conducted by Bishop Stairlon Gregory, were held Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at the Inez M. Henryhand Memorial Chapel of St. Stephen. Burial, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home, followed at Old Field Cemetery of St. Stephen. Mr. Bryant died Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Trident Medical Center of Charleston. He was born May 26, 1956, in St. Stephen, the son of Sam Bryant, Sr. and Luciel Jones Bryant. He attended the Berkeley County public schools for his early education. Following the death of his mother in 1968. He moved to Brooklyn, New York and completed his high school education. During his high school days he was employed and trained by Chase Manhattan Bank. He joined the United States Marine Corps on August 26, 1977. A brother, David Bryant, preceded him in death. Survivors are: one brother, Sam Bryant, Jr. (Sarah) of Tarboro, North Carolina; and three sisters, Rose Bryant of the home, Lillie Bryant of Brooklyn, New York; and Mrs. Betty Saunders of Stroughsburg, Pennsylvania.
