Inetha Pelote, St.Stephens -Funeral services for Inetha Gabriela Ethel “NeNe” Pelote, conducted by the Rev. Robert McCutchen, Jr., were held Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Inez M. Henryhand Memorial Chapel of St. Stephen, directed by Henryhand Funeral Home. Ms. Pelote died Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was born January 21, 1987, at the Jersey City Medical Center of Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Shirlee Davis and Carmel Celtis James. She was educated in the Jersey City Public School System. She attended the Whitney M. Young, Jr. (PS.#15), where she graduated and then went on to graduate from Henry Snyder High School in June of 2005. She also graduated from cosmetology school. Survivors are: two children, Amillya Shirlee Burns and Matthew James Tippenhauer; three sisters, Monique Davis, Samantha Davis, and Michele Smith, all of Jersey City, New Jersey; her best friend since the age of four, Anjulie Eadie; and a very special friend, Cory Burns.
